Description

Refractor transforms note data by applying range-bound logic to Pitch, Velocity, Length, and Chance, using Fold, Wrap, or Limit modes to control how values behave when exceeding defined thresholds. Whether reflecting values back into range, wrapping them from one extreme to the other, or simply constraining them to the boundary, Refractor allows for immediate and reversible manipulation of expressive data. This makes it ideal for sculpting unpredictable input into musically usable material without flattening dynamics or removing variation.
