Description
This is a midi device for Buchla Music Easel (or Easel Command) users.
The Easel requires the following midi note information for external trigger of the Envelope Generator, Pulser, Random Voltage Generator, or Sequential Voltage Source.
TRIGGER NOTE VALUES:
Sequencer trigger Note On Note # 0-2 (C to D)
Random trigger Note On Note # 3-5 (Eb-F)
Envelope Generator trigger Note On Note # 6-8 (F# to Ab)
Pulser trigger Note On Note # 9-11 (A-B)
This device allows the user to select between linking midi note information to the Envelope Generator, the Pulser, the Random Voltage Generator, or the Sequential Voltage Source by automatically creating the desired "trigger note" each time a melodic note is played- or in other words, for every melodic MIDI note entered, the device sends a “trigger” midi note to the respective trigger note value of the Envelope Generator, the Pulser, the Random Voltage Generator, or the Sequential Voltage Source - via a toggle)
Also, CC1 (Timbre Amt.), CC2 (Modulation Amt.), CC5 (Portamento Amt.), CC14 (MIDI to CV via “Pressure” jack), and CC3 (Slew Rate of Midi to CV applied to CC14) are all addressable/mappable
