Description

I needed something simple for Ableton Push 3 Stand Alone

Euclidean rhythm-based arpeggiator that triggers from held chords

Hold down any chord and this device generates a euclidean arpeggio pattern automatically. It uses euclidean rhythm distribution to create mathematically even note spacing.

Parameters:

Speed: Arpeggio rate (1/16 = sixteenth notes)

Length: How many hits/triggers in the euclidean pattern (3 = 3 active steps)

Duration: Note length as percentage (100 = full length)

Steps: Total steps in the euclidean cycle

Shift: Rotates the pattern timing

Reset: Restarts pattern from beginning

Skip Notes: Excludes certain notes from the pattern

How it works:

Hold down a chord (any number of notes)

Euclidean algorithm distributes Length number of hits across Steps total steps

Device cycles through your held chord notes on each hit

Release chord to stop

Example: Length=3, Steps=8 creates pattern: X--X--X- (3 hits evenly spaced in 8 steps)

Use Cases:

Create complex polyrhythmic arpeggios from simple chords

Generate mathematical, non-repetitive arp patterns

Explore euclidean rhythm concepts musically

Add rhythmic interest to sustained chord progressions

Perfect for creating organic-feeling yet precise rhythmic arpeggiation patterns.
