notestutter is a MIDI effect device that generates rhythmic repetitions of your incoming notes, from subtle tremolo-like pulses to full glitchy stutter patterns.

⏱️ Control the spacing between repeats by choosing either:

• Time mode: milliseconds for free-time stutters

• Sync mode: tempo-locked rhythmic patterns (1/16, 1/8T, etc.)

🎶 Set how many repetitions each note produces and let the device take care of the timing.

🎲 Randomization allows you to keep things alive:

• Randomize the time distance between repeats

• Randomize the number of repetitions

→ Always generating slightly different gestures and evolving textures.

🎚️ Want variation in pitch?

You can decide if repeated notes should:

• Stay the same note, or

• Shift by + or – semitones for micro-melodic stutters and expressive glitch motifs.
