Description

This is nothing more than Laverne with a different sound generation method: wavetables with start position selection and modulation instead of preset waveforms. This first version uses wavetables taken from my Wavetable Sound Effects generator, but the next version should see better tables. This version isn't perfect, but it does provide some interesting animated timbres that can be very different to those provided by the usual saw, square, sine, triangle and pulse waveforms.

I've had a couple of reports of 'no sound' problems, so 0v03 is a second attempt to try and fix that (apologies for the delay!). Please let me know via comments if this works. Thanks.

    thanks for sharing but I'm not getting any sound either.. am I missing something?

    Apologies to wasili and Jimbabwae, but I've not been able to find anything wrong with the dependencies or freezing, so I'm not sure what it is. However, I've rebuild it with newly named wavetables to see if that helps, so 0v01 is now replaced by 0v02.

    I really enjoy the sound of this. You've done a terrific job. I was going to try and mix your work into my prettified visual version of laverne but so far I'm not up to speed on all that patching.
    You've made a "working class synth" sound classy.
