Two clippers, two different jobs: character + control.

This bundle includes:

1) AWS – VintageClip

A 3-mode clipper for fast loudness with tone options:

SILK — soft saturation for smooth, glued transients

AMBER — asymmetric “tube-ish” warmth (forward mids, added body)

IRON — hard ceiling clip for edge + peak shaving

Controls: Drive (0–24 dB), Ceiling (-24–0 dB), Mix (0–100%), Output, plus meters + clip indicator.

2) AWS – HardClip

A simple, no-fuss hard clipper for peak control so your limiter doesn’t do all the heavy lifting.

Best uses:

Drum bus (spiky kick/snare peaks)

Pre-master (when the limiter starts flattening movement)

Problem tracks (harsh transient spikes)

Controls: Drive, Ceiling, Mix.

When to use which

Want vibe / thickness / “louder” without sounding shoved? → VintageClip (SILK/AMBER)

Want strict peak shaving + headroom before the limiter? → HardClip

Want both: HardClip first for peak shaving → VintageClip after for tone + density (level-match).

Quick start (works on drums, bass, groups, mix bus)

Set Ceiling first (start around -0.3 dB on HardClip).

Add Drive until peaks stop jumping.

Blend back with Mix if you want more transient bite.

Level-match with Output (or bypass gain) when A/B’ing.
