Description

This device is not an effect for processing sound, but a performance tool designed to handle the manipulation of effects themselves. It is built with live control via a MIDI controller in mind, allowing users to freely map any parameters to its eight dials. Each dial can store a user-defined default value, and with a single action, all parameters can be instantly returned to those values. The Reset button can also be MIDI-mapped, making it possible to trigger a reset directly from a MIDI controller.

When MIDI-mapping the dials, setting your MIDI controller to relative mode is recommended, as it helps prevent parameter value jumps when adjusting a dial after a reset.

This enables bold, expressive manipulation of effects during a performance, while always providing a reliable way to return safely to the original state. The device has been tested using a MIDI Fighter Twister, and is particularly well suited to MIDI controllers with push-encoders, where knobs can be pressed as well as turned.
