Description

This is a delay with diffusion and an OTT-style multiband compressor inside of the feedback loop.

Using feedback has always been one of my favorite ways to create interesting sounds, but setting up feedback loops in Ableton always feels a bit hacky and cumbersome. So, I decided to recreate one of my favorite feedback effect chains inside Max4Live and give it a clean and easy-to-use UI with a huge sweet spot.

You may think that putting an OTT inside of a delay feedback loop would be a bit dangerous, but the aggressive compression of the OTT actually creates a pretty effective safeguard against feedback explosions (you're more likely to experience runaway feedback when the OTT amount is closer to 0)
