Description

Instrument Sleep Timer is your auto timer for turning off the instrument that is on the same track as the device.

What it does:

-start a predefined countdown on the last played midi note (off) message

-detect instrument on the device's track

-turn off instrument after the countdown

-turn on instrument on the next midi note

Use case:

-save CPU

-use as workaround for max for live's shitty midi routing

-set different midi channels for different instrument tracks and don't worry about CPU when switching channel/instrument (or alternatively record arm)

Keep in mind:

-you may have to play a second note in order to get sound after standby

-also works for instrument racks

-controlling rack chains is not supported
