Fast FET-style compression with punch, bite, and forward motion for Ableton Live.

cphn - fetty is the compressor you reach for when a sound needs to step out of the speakers. It reacts quickly, grabs transients with attitude, and can move from firm control to obvious crush without becoming complicated. Use it when a vocal needs urgency, a drum room needs excitement, or a bass needs to stay locked in place with a little edge.

What it does:

- Uses a dedicated gen~ DSP core for the compression and tone path.

- Includes a custom JavaScript gain-reduction meter.

- Offers ratio modes inspired by classic FET compressor workflows, including an aggressive ALL-style behavior for parallel and effect compression.

UI guide:

- Input: drives the compressor harder. More input means more gain reduction and more attitude.

- Output: trims level after compression so you can match bypass level.

- Ratio: chooses the compression character, from punchy control to harder limiting.

- Color: adds harmonic density and tone.

- Meter: shows gain reduction so you can set compression by feel.
