Description
Super6 is a detune/chorus Max for Live device based on the Roland JP-8000 SuperSaw oscillator. Use it to produce subtle chorusing or nasty detunes. It works great on synths, vocals, and pads.
The original SuperSaw oscillator used 7 stacked detuned sawtooth oscillators to produce a fat wave and has become a staple of several genres of electronic music. Super6 takes stereo input and uses pitch-shifters to achieve similar effects for any signal, using tunings that were reverse-engineered from the original SuperSaw. It allows you to fatten up a simple synth sound with very little effort.
It's not free, but it is cheap ($5, no Paypal required) and the code is unlocked if you want to modify it for your personal use.
