This device observes clips getting recorded and stops the recording after a certain amount of bars.

Why? With this device you can use Abletons clip view and record multiple clips (in contrast to abletons loop device) by only starting the clip. You dont't have to stop it, so you have your hands free to play.

I had some problems with emtpy ( 0kb) audio clips, so maybe don't try this device on your precious working/money making machine. You'd only have to find the audio files and delete them, then everything works fine again, but might be anoying.
