Description

MIDIdifferentONE is a alternative to clip envelopes that allows easy timing changes, easy editing, and looped repeats via a mappable parameter-outputting step sequencer.

If you want every bar of a bass-line to have a different filter cutoff (to be precise, 16 different values), then this is the device for you.

If you want to then switch to that cliched quarter beat S&H filter mod sound with a single pop-up menu selection then this is the device for you.

Version 0.02 adds an 'Undo' button, so when you make an edit, you can go back! (Note: Only 1 level of undo...). Plus I tweaked the initialisation so that it starts from step 1 when you start the transport. The step sequencer is now 'mouse aware' when you stop Live, so you can then use the mouse to edit each of the steps and audition the effect of the parameter quickly and easily. (The little green/red indicator shows if Live is playing or stopped...and this controls if the mouse edits are active)

    Works great in Live 10.1.3
I'm using with cv for some random controlled chaos

@SamSaw2: That's refreshingly different! My first instinct would have been to do that with a modular step sequencer!

    I'll give this a try.

Simple and great. What is the difference between Random, S&H and Screamble? Thanks!
