Description

Lucent is a reverb which was built in [gen~] consisting of two FDN matrixes with possibilities of pitchshifting the reverb tail which effect is known as "shimmer". The FFT pitchshifting algorithm is build on the "multi-channel" way of the sound processing so this provides deep control of the pitch-shifted tails with different modes and two parameter knobs for pitch control. Two modulation modules were added so the size of the space could be changed dynamically and filled with noise to make your reverb sounds more brushy/crunchy. Also with two cool filters you can EQ your reverb sound, cutting low and/or high frequencies. On the last stage Lucent deals with the "width" control which allows to control the stereo effect of the reverberated sound.
