Description

Deck of Random (2020) is a Max for Live 4x random source that uses a virtual deck of playing cards to generate its randomness. Each suit can be mapped to any parameter in Ableton Live, and when a card is drawn from the deck, that suit’s value changes to the number value of that card (1-13). In this way, four different random sources are constantly effecting the probability of each other. Cards can be manually or automatically drawn at a set interval. The deck will automatically reshuffle after the last card is drawn, or can be reshuffled at any time.
