Description

OnsetPitch Detector analyses an incoming signal, and sends out a MIDI note of the detected pitch at each detected onset or transient of a sound. It does so according to a set of parameters and algorithms.

Useful for glitchy sound design (such as rattling or percussive impulses or noises), and short mini-transient material.

_____

The EventPitch Detector is a similar device, with algorithms for detecting novel data, according to different descriptors. These are similarly output using MIDI data, and can be inverted and delayed.

Change-log:

v.1.4

Bug fixes on the EventPitch detector device.

v.1.3.5.

Added the EventPitch Detector device. The Note Swap device is no longer supported.

v.1.3

Corrected the visualization waveform (it now works properly), fixed the range of the length parameter, added ability to decide which note to output or have it automatically detected, changed "trigger" and "S&H" names, added ability to synch delay to tempo, and tweaked the default parameters so that the result is more musical out-of-the-box.

v1.2

Corrected the note output bug.

v1.1

Added onsetnote send.
