Description

This is a special delay that should not be used as delay audio effect because it does not report the produced lateny to the DAW.

This is intended because it should be used for latency compensation of audio sync signals - for example for the ERM Multiclock.

The device is compatible with the latency detector device [1] (experimental) but can be used also standalone.

I use these devices to set negative latency compensation for the ERM Multiclock audio sync stream. This may happen if you use vst plugins with latency on the master channel and it is currently not possible to set a negative latency in the External Audio Effect.
