Description
This is all which it claims to be; a simple tone generator. It allows you to generate sine and saw waveforms and provides way's to change the amplitude (volume) and the frequency.
When I learned about aliasing ('Niquist theorum') I wanted to have something to try this out for myself. And this patch more than provided. Do note that the Sine and 'Saw' are aliased; the rest of the waveforms are unaliased.
The reason I'm putting it online is because it managed to help me study aliasing as well as provide solid ways to test and experiment with synths like Live's Operator and Reason's Thor and Subtractor.
Tip: IMO you get the best results when using this in combination with my M4LScope.
v1.6: I've added several waveforms (2nd saw, pulse, triangle), removed a clash with TonegenFX and marked this 'active development' ("beta") because I have some more ideas to work out.
Active development is taking place here, the main website (synthfan.info) will fall behind a bit.
