Description

This is an overly simple calculator to display the corresponding frequency according to the inputted MIDI pitch.

***It is based on the Stuttgart pitch [pitch standard] at which A4=400hz.

A440 or A4 (also known as the Stuttgart pitch), which has a frequency of 440 Hz, is the musical note of A above middle C and serves as a general tuning standard for musical pitch.

***Important note would be to understand that Ableton, along with many pianos and instruments are actually calibrated an octave lower than Stuttgart Pitch.

i.e. A3=440 rather than A4=440.
