Seems to work, but MAX console reports lots of exceptions.
Feature request: I can map a midi note to the start button, but it doesn't recognize that note when put in a clip, so I don't know how to automatically trigger this, other than to find a second max plug to pass the midi note.

Scratch my comment about midi mapping - it works just fine automating the start button.
