bve.echternach is a sequencer which progresses like the ancient Procession of Echternach, in which participants take three steps forward, followed by two steps backward, etc. The Procession of Echternach is an annual Roman Catholic dancing procession held at Echternach, in eastern Luxembourg. It is the last traditional dancing procession in Europe. The procession is held every Whit Tuesday around the streets of the city of Echternach. It honours Willibrord, the patron saint of Luxembourg, who established the Abbey of Echternach.
