What the hell is a clock divider? [MM4L] Clock + Note Divider takes your incoming MIDI and discards a few of the notes. Create IDM beats, generative bass lines and warped melodies during a live performance or from MIDI clips.

This is a great technique to use with existing MIDI clips or even a constant stream of random data. It also makes a great pairing with Live's Arpeggiator device.

HOT TIPS:

Try modulating the "Divide" control to create tension or movement. Or, speed up your MIDI clips 2x to get new interesting variations and IDM beats.
