Use Metallicizer to create punchy and futuristic percussion: from hollow wood to piercing metal. The core of the plugin relies on two main modules: a vocoder, and a Karplus-Strong resonator. The vocoder bandpass filters are set to an extremely high Q, which creates a resonance in each band that lends an impressively realistic tonal quality to any content passed through. As the Q factor increases, so does the "decay" of these resonant filters. This is enhanced by the Karplus-Strong module, which simply functions as a short-time high-feedback delay with a lowpass filter in the middle of the feedback circuit. To round things out, transient shaping and distortion give your percussion some additional thickness.
