Description

SimplerCTL is a midi effect which controls the sample start setting of a Simpler device which resides on the same track (or the same chain if used in a rack).

You can shift the starting position in 8 or 16 steps (so parts of 6.25 or 12.5 percent) by pressing the first 8 or 16 keys on the keyboard (C1 to D#2).

So: with this device active C1 will play the entire sample whereas D1 will make the sample start at either 25% (if used in 8 step mode) or 12.5% (if used in 16 step mode).
