Description
SEQ960 is my tribute to a well known sequencer that powered many electronic bands in the 1970's. It features 4 programmable rows.
Row1 controls pitch and can be constrained to a chosen scale, octave range and root note as well as randomised.
Row2 controls note velocity which can be used by many plugin synths to control filter cut-off etc.
Row3 controls note timing so complex rhythmic patterns can be easily generated.
Row4 controls the classic ratchet effect associated with this type of sequencer. There is a control to vary the damping of the repeats to reduce the 'machine gun' effect.
Each note column has Skip, Mute and Go-to buttons for further control of the sequencer pattern. The go-to stage can be set to any of the 8 stages and a level of uncertainty can be applied to the go-to decision.
Have fun!
