Description

This is a mod of the Live probability Pack by Sonic Faction from a few years ago. I asked and was told it was ok to share since it was a free pack. It had a few sequencers that could be controlled from Push and I modded them to work with Push3. I don't have a standalone to test on but they're fully controllable without needing to use Lives interface so they should work with Push3 standalone unless there's some externals that aren't compatible.

All credit goes to Sonic Faction, the only change I made is Push3 control. This doesnt contain every device from the pack, only the ones with Push integration.

Note-The help file on each device isn't updated for Push3. All of the controls work but a few of them are in a different location on Push3 than they will in the Push2 help file.

    Thank you for bringing melodic probability back! 
    In the lest version, everything works except I can't access velocity view from the Push and I can't select Push in the Controller Menu from the push. Does anyone know the secret handshake for those?

    Is it just melodic probability you can’t select from push? I’ll take a look this week one day and see if I see anything. As far as I know the velocity should be set the same way as it was on push 2, I can’t remember offhand the control but it should be the same as the help file, I didn’t change any of that from the original.

    My sincere apologies, Gross. I was mistaken on both counts. With the layout change between P2 and P3, I was just looking in the wrong place for the velocity. It was on the left side of the layout while everything else had moved to the right. Activation was pure oversight. 
    You did a phenomenal job, and I'm truly grateful to have Melodic Prob back in the toolshed. Thank you!

    For sure, I didn’t have that one in there. It didn’t have push integration so it didn’t need an update. If you download the pack from Ableton it’ll be included there I believe.

    Oh wow, just love Step Divider for Push 3, thank you Gross!
    Came to it via the Dream Cycle rack in the original Sonic Faction Probability pack.
    Then watched the video by SideBrain for your update mod for Push 3 youtu.be/qnJ8RTaM3g8
    For anybody else who's using it, I've figured out a couple of different Push 3 key assignments as follows, these are to access the different pad modes:
    Scale:            Scale Mode on and off (toggle)
    Double Loop:      Probability Mode on
    Convert:          Sequence Mode on
    Quantise:         Pattern Mode on
    Also probably obvious, left-hand button above the Push display (StepDividerP) gives you access to Global, Probability, Rate, Division and Note control.
