Description

TIA2600 is a MAXMSP/gen~ emulation of the Atari 2600. It works in Ableton Live, and a stand-alone program is in the works.

My emulation retains the original non-tuning and (by design) 1-bit “waveform” resolution of the Atari, its 4-bit volume scaling, and tone order, although this device it’s clocked at your Mac or PC’s sampling rate instead of the original 30kHz. The exact behavior of the LFSR’s multiple pattern interactions has been reproduced where possible.

TIA2600 also features an additional pitch-bend function, something normally not available in the original hardware.

You will also find a demo Ableton project inside the .zip. This device is open source.

Awesome idea. My only issue with it when testing is that the C on it isn't a C. It's F flat. Anything you can do to bring that around to normal pitch??

To be more clear, it produces notes that are 25.2 cents sharp or flat from actual pitch. I tried 7 different pitch .amxd utilities that had no effect at all on it.
I would definitely try to implement this into work if I could somehow tune it correctly! Thanks! Hope to see an update. Sounds cool

@irishmos if you could maybe just read the manual it would be great. Cheers
