Description

ULTRACHOP is a simple yet powerful rhythmic stutter for Ableton live.

It uses high-res wavetables to cut/modulate the amplitude of any source, using MaxMSP's gen at its core to provide sharp and clear sound.

Use it to create textures, rhythmic variations, or to create sequences using any source you want.

UltraChop features special high frequency "impulsive" wavetables that can drastically affect or enhance the harmonic components of your audio source.

This device also features a distortion that is applied to the stuttering wavetable rather than its main output, creating a more brutal stuttering effect.

To use it, just drag it onto an audio track.

Simply hover over any parameter, and a tooltip will appear explaining its function and giving suggestions on how it might be used. This will assist you in understanding the core functions and potential of each control.

This device is still experimental. It is released in Testing Mode for free exclusively for the M4L community.
