Maybe something like this already exists here, I couldn't find it.

Very basic MIDI effect to retrigger MIDI notes with needing to go back to note-on position. Mostly useful is those situations when you have very long MIDI notes/chords/drones and you don't want to get back to the note-on position or freeze the track.

How it works;

1. Play note/chord you want held.

2. When playback is active notes will play without need for retriggering, when playback stops note(s) stop.

This device is intend for drone music, maybe others will find it useful.

If a long note/chord is played from beginning to end it will end with the note-off message so there shouldn't be any issues when bouncing.

Ideally I would like the note-off message to always work (it doesn't if you stop playback and restart after the note-on message) but I haven't figured out a way to do that with the current patch. If anyone has any suggestions that would be appreciated.
