Description
This is a fixed and upgraded of Streuners looping device: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/3329/streuners-looping-device
What works:
- Creating new loops with fixed bar length on the track the device is on
- Mapping midi or a knob as a bar length selector
- Overdubbing works as usual (the fixed length does not interfere)
Known bugs:
- If you copy this device to another track, will not work correctly until you've re-selected an option from the list. Same thing with just changing the track number of the current track (i.e. deleting a previous track or smth).
Tested thoroughly and seems to work reliably.
Let me know if you find any bugs.

3 bars, 8 bars, 16 at least please... Or tell us how to do it.
Thanks!
It would be really handy though if we could increase the length options, I'm not sure how difficult this would be though? Even a 2x or 4x button in the corner would be amazing. Is this a possibility?
Thanks again!
Honestly, this device has totally changed the way I make music so it would be amazing if you do find some way to implement the extra lengths.
Thanks for all your work!
Quick note. Is it possible to also automatically turn off "Session Record" when the clip stops recording as well?
I use a footswitch mapped to the session record button to be able to do hands free looping, and when i start recording with that, when the clip stops recording after the set # of bars the Session Record button remains active and I'm getting a little bleed over while playing midi notes . (yes i should be stopping right at the end of the bar but sometimes i like to play though the end of loop a little... ;)
Note that it works fine for any audio tracks. And it works fine if I hit the record button on the clip itself, but not the session record button
thx in advance
