Description
A simple goniometer and phase correlation meter. I was surprised that I could not find a proper phase scope made with Max For Live, so I made my own.
The patch shows a plot of the incoming audio's stereo field and maps the polar angle of the vector between the mid and side channels to a smoothed -1,1 slider (i.e. a true phase correlation meter)

The Goniometer draws what are known as Lissajous curves: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lissajous_curve.
You can make some really cool shapes and animations by applying different sine waves to the left and right channels. Maybe I'll make a a video synth in the future that works on this principal.
