Description

This Instrument Rack (there's no M4L involved here, but you need Operator) is a quick and dirty somewhat reproduction of the quick and dirty Korg Electribe ER1 drum machine.

I sold my unit many years ago, so this « emulation » is done based on my memory.

It’s not meant to be a perfectly accurate virtual version of this funny drum machine, but rather a mimicking of its design ideas.

It has more « Wave » waveforms than the original Electribe, I’ve made the « Boost » work a bit differently, I didn’t implemented the ER1’s nice delay nor the ring mod option.

Still I think this is a fun device that puts you in front of the genius ER1 sound design workflow!

Just like the original device, this instrument doesn't really sound good but it has a wide spectrum that lets you create classic drum machine kicks, snares, percs and retro-futuristic sfx.
