This device affects the currently selected clip. The Clip Quantize Mapper performs the same action as right clicking a clip and hitting "Quantize". The advantage of having this in Key/MIDI mappable form is that it can easily be used during live performance by hitting a keyboard or foot controller.

You can choose the quantization grid (same quantization grids as recording quantization) and the amount it's quantized.

The device comes in audio effect and MIDI effect form.

Note: This device does not work on arrangement clips. Quantization in arrangement view is as simple as right click -> quantize. This is intended as a live performance, clip looping tool

Update 7/13/20: Fixed a bug that caused the button to sometimes malfunction on newly recorded clips. It was likely related to processor speed/deferlow/"actions cannot be triggered by notifications".

Update 5/18/21: Updated the color scheme to look like more like an Ableton stock device.
