Description
AKA "Mostest Simplestest"
BIG shoutout to CaligulaCuddles who's "Most Simplest" device was the basis for this one
https://maxforlive.com/library/device/4807/most-simplest
This is a simple, no BS sampler that is great for drums, however unlike many of the other devices (including Simpler), this contains an AHDSR envelope instead of an ADSR, which I find more useful for drums. I am a convert from FL Studio, who's built-in envelopes have AHDSR, and I was missing this.
That's really all there is. There's some pitch shifting & timestretching controls and such (from Most Simplest), but this is designed without any filters or anything. Once again, my preferred method for drums/snares in a no-BS way.
This device (Mostest Simplestest, or Samplicity) is an even more simple device than Most Simplest, which was already a simpler version of More Simpler, which was of course, a simpler version of Simpler.
I wanted to go with the name Mostest Simplestest because I guess that's how it would work, but my GF came up with the name Samplicity which I think is far better.
I'd love to add a variable "voices" selection as well like the new Simpler.
NOTE: I am aware that the REV sample button doesn't work the way it should in one-shot mode. I'm not really sure how to fix it and it behaved this way for me in the original device so I don't know how long it will take to fix because I've tried a bunch of things. Its my first few weeks into Max so I'm still learning.
