Description
This device "replaces" the live 11's variation system and macro random system.
It was originally designed to add those functions to Live 10,
But I decided to make a Live 11 version because it allows more possibilities (...if it was not sometimes still a bit buggy=) than the regular system.
So, in Live 11 you can close the official variation panel and use this device instead..
This Live 11's version of "variation for live 10" is still compatible with Live 10 =)
At launching the device checks for the Live version used and adapts itself.
Feat:
¤ Store / Recall any state of all the macros of the next rack.
¤ Choose a ramp time between two variations to make a transition.
¤ This ramp time can be free (from 1 ms to 1 minute) ...
¤ ... or in sync with Live's tempo (from 1/16 to 16 bars).
¤ Morphing between 2, or 3, or 4 variations with mappable sliders
¤ Each variation can be triggered with mapping/automation (and with transition)
¤ Variations can be named.
¤ Import / Export of variations in external files.
¤ Random feature with exclude capabilities.
¤ Dose the random from very close to the current values or drasticly.
¤ A dial brows all saved variations, its stroke is always a function of the number of recorded variations, even if there are empty slots. Mapping this dial to a hardware knob allows to distribute all the current variations around it.
¤ 2 devices : audio and midi versions

Changelog
1.1 : CPU improvement
Interpolation slider and the ability to choose the variation to morph are automatable in clips
(select the parameters "INTERPOLATION" (from 0 to 127) / "INTERP_FROM" / "INTERP_TO" in clips envelops.)
1.0 : initial release
_____
Things to do :
/improve the cpu efficiency of ramping when variations are recalled. The CPU usage seems better when the morphing is done with the sliders than when it's just a transition between recalls...
/excluse capabilities of macro for the variations.
