Description
1.1 Added UI scaling
DropTool is a midi generator based on my sequencer DropSeq. If you've used the sequencer it works in the same way but as a miditool.
In a popout window there are 8 lanes, each lane has a column of 8 dots when the dot "hits" the bottom a note is created.
The controls are top to bottom-
Note created with an octave switch.
The Dots, clicking an empty dot will place the start point and clicking a filled dot will turn that column off.
R- reverses the pattern.
S1- skips the first note created, this can be useful to avoid "Chords" on the first note in a clip.
Sync- sets the "rate" of the lane and note duration to be either in note divisions or free.
The lanes rate.
The notes length.
Velocity range
Q-quantize
L-legato
Rotate the pattern.
Honestly I kinda think this works better as a sequencer than a miditool but I got the idea stuck in my head and had to make it haha.
