This Max for Live Device turns the track color black and red when a clip is recording, providing a user with additional feedback on what is going on in Ableton. I find this useful in live looping situations where it's easy to see what's recording. Instead of looking for a little red triangle somewhere, I can glance or see it out of the corner of my eye.

Update 5/18/21: Updated the color scheme to look like more like an Ableton stock device.
