Description

Brendan from Cirrus Audio came to me with a problem to solve. He uses Ableton Live as his DAW when Mastering and in a heavy session, would get nasty artifacts when stopping Live's transport, that would go right though his mastering chain to his speakers.

By placing this device on the master track, the audio is quickly turned up or down based on Live's transport reducing any pops, clicks or other noises, potentially protecting sensitive equipment and ears.

Due to other plugins in a project being delayed due to latency and delay compensation, this device will generally mute the audio before it would typically stop in a busy Live Set.

This device could also be used to mute a drone synth, live input or reverb tails while transport is stopped.
