Description

GateChopper was an idea that carlosbtlr (check out his devices) had and I made to reuse my 3gates interface to chop notes. 

Once a note/notes are selected clicking in the gates UI will chop the notes into divisions based on the number in the bottom left corner. In mode A on gates result in notes and off gates result in no notes, In mode B consecutive gates result in joined notes and off gates result in single notes. There are controls to randomize, shuffle and invert the gates.

The top section is used to give a pitch offset to the chopped notes relative to the starting pitch and current scale of the clip.

The chopped notes retain the original notes velocity, velocity deviation and chance.
