What's this? Even Ableton's stop button can be improved?!

For live performances, yes! Ableton's stop button stops all playing clips AND any incoming midi notes. Most DAWs have an option to allow incoming midi to ring out when the stop button is pressed, but nooot Ableton. It is impossible to finish a performance by playing a long chord, then stop all running clips, but let that epic last chord just keep ringing out.

This alternative stop button stops all clips, but allows any incoming midi to ring out, so you can achieve those epic last chords.

There is a preference button to choose either:

'Playing Clips' where pressing play retriggers the clips that were last playing, even if different clips were triggered just before pressing stop.

'Triggered Clips' where pressing play will retrigger all clips that were last playing, unless different clips were triggered just before pressing stop, then these ones will be retriggered. (This is what Ableton does normally)
